ACTFL's awards and scholarships programs include a series of Professional Awards reflecting a robust host of categories, the National Language Teacher of the Year Program that celebrates and promotes achievement in the language education profession across all languages and levels of instruction, the Future Teacher Scholarship Program which supports future language teachers in their post-secondary studies, and the Vista Microgrant program which supplies $300 microgrants to K-12 teachers for cultural and linguistic projects.
Our awards and scholarship programs inspire and motivate others to strive for excellence—empowering fellow language and scholarship educators, peers across academic disciplines, and our students.
